Prince George is the future King of England, and he might even more beloved than his father, Prince William. There are many things he is entitled to as the third in line to the throne, but there’s one thing that neither Prince William nor Prince Harry wants. Could Prince George reject it in the future? What else do we know about the young boy? Let’s find out!
Prince George will inherit many things throughout his life, as the British royal family has many possessions. From titles to property, he will be in charge at some point. He will also be King in the future, but there’s something that will come way before that. According to royal commentator Christopher Wilson, it’s likely that Prince George will get Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, England.
Prince Charles bought the estate in 1980. His family including Princess Diana, Prince William, and Prince Harry lived there for most of his marriage. It consists of 9 bedrooms, six bathrooms, and some of the most beautiful gardens in the world. Wilson explained, “Inevitably Highgrove will become surplus to requirement.” Prince George is only a little more than a decade away from becoming an adult, and he might like that property.
Naturally, the estate should go to either Prince William or Prince Harry. However, the royal commentator said that it was not a good place for them. While there are many happy memories at the property, it’s also where they saw their parent’s marriage turn sour. For the most part, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted at their house in Norfolk.
Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex cannot live there anymore. After exiting the royal family, they seem to have found a permanent home in California and have big plans for their future as common people. They recently closed a deal with Netflix to produce several shows, which should keep them busy for the next couple of years.
Among the many other things that Prince George will inherit, there are also dolphins and whales. In fact, he will become the owner of those animals and several others that live in Britain. This is due to the 1324 statute where the monarch of the UK “shall have wreck of the sea throughout the realm, whales and sturgeons taken in the sea or elsewhere within the realm, except in certain places privileged by the king”.
Aside from inheriting many things allow the way, Prince George has also been the recipient of many toys. However, there’s someone very special in his life that likes to continue Princess Diana’s tradition. Julia Samuel is George’s godmother, and she said, “I do to George what [Princess Diana] did to us, which is give impossible toys that are really noisy and take a lot of making.” She also said that Prince William ends up building it, and the craziness of the presents makes everyone laugh.
Despite never meeting his grandmother, Prince George is reminded of her all the time. Samuel said that he reminds her so much of the late Princess, especially due to his sense of humor. “He’s funny and feisty and cheeky and God, [Diana] would have loved him so much,” she explained. It’s great that he has so many people around him to remind of Princess Diana.
There is another important aspect of Prince George that he inherited from his grandmother. It has been said that the late Princess wanted to become a ballerina when she was young. However, she was too tall. Meanwhile, little George has been taking ballet lessons in school for some time. Furthermore, Prince William said he loves it.
You would be surprised to learn that there are other characteristics that Prince George has inherited from his grandmother. In this case, it’s because Prince William also does it. Princess Diana revealed in one of her letters in 1985 that she always opened gifts before Christmas morning. Her son and grandson now do the same.
In her letter, the late princess wrote, “William has also picked up this dreadful habit…as I find wrapping paper undone in the most extraordinary places!” Meanwhile, Prince William confirmed the story during a radio show with AJ King. It’s lovely that they can enjoy Christmas just like regular families.
Let’s take a look at other important characteristics of Prince George’s life. The Cambridges live in a private estate, and it’s hard for them to go outside. However, author Louise Heren said that the kids spend lots of time in the gardens. “Loads of fresh air. Lots of bike rides, playing with their dogs, potentially some gardening,” she explained.
Little Prince George has a great relationship with his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. It might seem like the monarch is rather strict, but the Duchess of Cambridge has often talked about how close she is to George. Additionally, Kate also revealed that her son calls Queen Elizabeth II “Gan-Gan”. Perhaps, he will keep calling her that forever.
Naturally, Prince George has his own nickname, although that one might fall out of style as he grows older. Prince William and Kate Middleton came up with their own adorable monikers for their firstborn: “Tips” or “PG Tips”. The reason is that “PG Tips” is a famous brand of tea in the United Kingdom.
Everyone has noticed that Prince George looks like an angel. He has inherited his parent’s beauty in every way. However, that innocent face might hide a bit of naughtiness. The Duchess of Cambridge explained that Prince George did not come with her and Prince William on a tour of India because “he would be running all over the place”.
You might think that someone in the royal family is exposed to the best food in the world, and that can be the case. However, Prince George and his siblings are just like most children. They love junk food as much as anyone. Kate Middleton said that they often cook together and Prince George can make pizza as well as cookies. Additionally, Prince George enjoys making pancakes at school.
It’s likely that Prince George might be delighted to inherit Highgrove House, and as he is being raised in the most humble way possible, he might dedicate the estate to a better cause in the future.
